Vacuum Air Sensor for Circuit Breaker Monitoring

Increasingly circuit breaker manufacturers and utilities are electing to transition away from SF6 as the preferred breaker dielectric.  SF6 is a significant greenhouse gas, and while largely contained in the breaker, over time leaks may occur.  Franklin Grid Solutions is proud to announce the new OM-PS-10B vacuum air sensor.  The PS10 monitors vacuum air across a 0-10 Bar pressure range with an accuracy of +/- 1.5%.  The rugged, stainless steel PS10 outputs a 4-20 mA analog signal that is captured and interpreted by the OM3D breaker monitor.  The OM3D provides the end user with up to the minute dielectric status while monitoring a comprehensive array of critical breaker attributes.
